Well guys this is it. The last part of this series. The last month in the studio. Also the last t-shirt release i’ll be doing in this studio. A lot of “lasts” like it’s an ending, which it really is. But it’s also an evolution, a transformation, it’s growth.
I’m really excited to talk about the future, naturally, because it invites the thought of what could be, where we’re allowed to daydream. I’ll get right into it.
So what’s next?
- The move out process.
- Set up the home studio pt. II
- HOUSEOFDAKH “the new frontier”
Moving Out
I’ve been starting to list equipment that I will no longer need, on FB Marketplace / OfferUp. It’s been a huge help with clearing up clutter and also gaining the capital needed to launch into what’s next. There’s a lot of sh** in there, like a ton. For some reason it doesn’t seem like that much to me, hopefully that’s the case. I mean like hopefully the move won’t be too hard to organize, bc i know it’s a lot of stuff.
I don’t know if it’s completely hit me yet that i’ll be out of there in about 3 weeks, but definitely getting a bit nostalgic looking at photos of when I first moved in when it was empty. And that’s where we’re getting at now, getting it empty.
In this stage i’m looking to cut off the excess. Like my studio, I feel like there’s just a lot of extra things laying around getting in the way of what I want to build with you guys. Being able to do a hard reset and start from scratch-ish, is exciting to me. I really want to see a purer version of the brand grow. So for now, i’m just clearing out all the junk, to make way for something better to grow.
This week will be all about producing and shipping all remaining orders. There’s about 20 orders I have left I need to either print / sew and I aim to get those out this week!
Set up the home studio
Just realizing this section is gonna be short lol. I don’t even know if I should include this but yea im just gonna try to set up the home studio to be the most efficient version it could be. Crazy to think I could condense what i’m able to do in the stu, and bring that to the home studio. Ok next lol.
The New Frontier
The name is just for dramatics y’all. In this section i’m gonna talk about all the exciting things that I have planned for the rest of the year.
Products - I’m gonna go all cut / sew guys! Main reason is it just feels more intentional. The vibe it’s giving is painting on a canvas vs making a canvas for you to paint on. It just seems more fulfilling (to me). I think that is what I needed in trying to reignite the create fire in me. So yea, moving forward I will be working hard on have all pieces / blanks be designed in-house. There’s a lot of drawbacks on a logistical standpoint but I have been sampling and looking to release in a couple of months.
I am also launching an activewear line!! With this brand having roots in climbing / outdoorsy things, I have always wanted to make things designed specifically to wear for those activities. Yea we just wear graphic tees to climb, but I wanna make these things any way! So yea! Im excited for all you climbing, trail running, camp cooking, fly fishing, campfire building, #35mm-ing, creative people to start wearing all of these delicious things I have coming out.
Shipping / Customer Experience - This one is gonna be a work in progress but should have a good start! I am in the works of shifting to a no pre-order model, self explanatory but basically I want everything in stock at the time things release! It hurts me knowing the waiting times people have when receiving their products. So with inventory in hand, all orders should be shipped out same / next day!
The Brand
Ok so this is where things get real. Kind of the why. This has been hard to dial in because it has always been shifting for me, but here is what I have for you now.
I love when we allow ourselves to see where creativity takes us. I mean this on various levels. Creativity is the main entree here. To me it sparks joy, it gets me fired up, it brings people together, it gives solutions to big and small problems, it allows us to express ourselves, it gives reason.
This is the direction I want to take the brand, to show what creativity can do for us, to explore where creativity will take us.

Like all of my blogs, I know my writing is very unorganized and chaotic and grammatically atrocious. I’ve kind of hit my writing brain power limit for the day and I hope I got everything out that I wanted to but i’m sure there more I want to write. So i’m gonna leave post here and make another one later if necessary.
Cannot thank you guys enough for this amazing journey we’ve had so far. I’m excited for what coming this year, and then some.

Today is the last day the A Studio Farewell T-Shirt will be available. It will be goin offline later tonight. If you’ve been thinking about grabbing this tee, this is your sign. This one hit’s a little different as I may no longer be printing any shirt anymore (emphasis on maybe), as I want to spend more of my time designing / building the community.
You can click this to shop the tee now, before it goes offline.
Also let me know in the comments if you guys like the blog content / what type of things you would like for me to write about in the next one!
Much love,
Elboy

Enjoyed getting to see your creative process through the years and excited for what is to come. I remember back to getting one of the first pieces from you of “For we dream with faith” and now having about every other piece that has come it seems like ha!
Excited for what is to come!
Big fan. Always. Here for the journey.
Hey Elboy! Love the blog content. As another writer/creative/visionary it’s really cool hearing the mind behind the scenes and your thought processes within the brand. I’d love more of this in addition to deep dives on different pieces/lines! Keep shredding bruv.
